*Quick Tip For Working Around Sinks And Drains*

When I managed apartments we had a really good plumber who was good about sharing information and tips. One tip he told me was to always close the drain plug or place a rag over the drain before you start working. Inevitably a screw or other small part will fall into the sink or tub your working on and it will go down the drain. The other thing he said was that if you drop a screw or part in the sink go straight for the drain, if you chase the screw it will go down the drain, if you go straight for the drain your more likely to beat the screw there and catch it before it goes down the drain. Hope this helps.
