First lesson - this isn't a lesson.
This is not a "How To" guide describing all the steps from raw components to finished cartridge. There are plenty of guides out there already, plus .50BMG probably shouldn't be your first foray into the reloading world anyway. See my references section for some jumping-off points.
This is basically a "What To Buy" list ... I've compiled information and suggestions from various sources into a relatively thorough list. Hopefully it will save you some tedious legwork.
Second lesson - it's expensive!! :)
About the only part of your existing equipment you'll be able to use is your tumblers for cleaning the brass (and bullets if you get surplus ones) ... other than that, it's time to go shopping.

For cleaning the inside of the case necks, use a 1/2" steel brush, like the kind used to prep copper pipe fittings for soldering ... Oatey's is one brand, has a red handle ... remove the handle and use the brush in a cordless drill.
